Review on Powerful Grundfos 98562818 SCALA2 Pressure Boosting Pump: 1x115V 60Hz AVCBDF by Charles Woods

I was happy to find this pump even though I had never used a Grundfos product before. I bought it on October 24, 2017 and today is August 18, 2018. It broke down yesterday and started leaking. What caught my attention was the grinding and twisting noise coming from the device itself. I found that there was water around the base of the pump and the pump itself was hot, including the exhaust pipes. I push the reset button and it goes off. The pump still seems to be working, but of course it will have to be replaced soon. The load on the pump is minimal as I live alone and don't use as much water as I need. should fail after ten months of causal use.
