Powerful Grundfos 98562818 SCALA2 Pressure Boosting Pump: 1x115V 60Hz AVCBDF Review

DO NOT BUY THIS PUMP. I bought it and it started leaking after 4 months. Grundfos support is useless so Amazon replaced it and the second new pump was also leaking after 3 months. I will never buy Grundfos products. Revain was great, no questions asked and we were refunded. I bought a Davey pump which is made of stainless steel and not cheap plastic parts like the Grundfos Scala 2. Terrible support from Grundfos, doesn't even respond to emails.

I was happy to find this pump even though I had never used a Grundfos product before. I bought it on October 24, 2017 and today is August 18, 2018. It broke down yesterday and started leaking. Do not buy this product! I bought this product in September 2018 and installed it in October. I felt good about the 2 year warranty. Now the pump started to flow, so much that I had to remove it from the main supply line. It seems a common problem with this pump that it leaks and fails after 1.5-2 years. Hands down the best money I've spent. Easy installation, the only problem is finding a PEX adapter from 1 inch to 3/4 male. This thing is an animal. No pressure drop after installation.
