Great hat for a bad bug year in Maine
We have "Brown Tail Moth Caterpillars" in Maine. The hairs cause a skin reaction that is horrible and that itches for days and weeks. This hat keeps them from falling down into your collar while also keeping your neck sunburn free.The drawstring does a great job keeping the hat in place without discomfort.
Pros
- Great for kayaking on the river; keeps sun and bugs at bay. The vented/screened top keeps me cool.

- The hat is too bulky and difficult to pack for travel
