I am an enthusiast with three Nikon cameras (D40x, D70s and D7200) and have taken many pictures over the past 40 years. This lens excels in terms of performance, bokeh, and most importantly, sharp, beautiful, high-quality shots. Tried on all my cameras, no problems. This is a manual lens, so what? Manual focus is always best for getting the precise focus and overall composition you want to achieve. While not a professional, I have found this lens to give excellent results both in the field and in my home studio (I shoot micro and portraits). For an unbelievable price, he does an excellent job. I wish my other prime lenses (brand name) would work too. Worth the money, especially if you're expanding your core lens collection. Buy it!
