I got this for my son to use with online courses as the system mic in his computer picked up a lot of background noise and little real voice. This device was fine for a few months, worked fine, but the other day Windows reported an error with the USB device and now there is no sound. The light in the device works, but nothing more. I can try to replace or fix the cable but I'm disappointed that after sitting on a table for its life this thing just dies for no reason. This is when you get what you pay for.
