Finally a backpack that is suitable for monster dogs

THANK YOU SO MUCH. It took us a heck of a lot of time to find a backpack that matched our mix of gold and newbies (under $100) and this one did the job! For reference, Rudy weighs 150 pounds. and his back is about waist high, so if you have a very large dog, the X-Large should fit just fine. It slips easily over the head and I love that there are multiple straps that just snap together. The large pockets are a particularly good size and easily fit everything we take on the hike (two phones, a wallet, two water bottles, plastic bags, a knife, a lighter, and a zip-lock bag with everything we need to pack). also outside). We do mostly day hikes and have used this pack a few times but so far it hasn't worn down which bodes well for the future. Even if it's worn we will definitely buy it again, especially at this price! I was hesitant to give this product 4 stars for one reason only, but I cannot blame the product itself for the failure. I would like the pockets to be adjustable on the sides, which would allow us to lower them down either side of Rudy's torso so he's a little more balanced. If he starts itching, climbing or running too much, the backpack will slip to the side. I think this is mainly because he is so thick in the chest/torso area that the pockets sit more on his upper back and less on his sides so the weight distribution is a little off. Since my own dog is clumsy, I can't give this product less than 5 stars!
