Affordable HD camera with microphone

Elderly parents needed to change their webcam in order to see them well on Skype. We bought this camera because it has HD image quality, that is, 1280x720 pixels, and the image frame rate is 30 frames per second. This means that the camera transmits the sharp movements of the subscriber on the screen smoothly, and not intermittently, as in a strobe. It is very good! With the old camera, we were completely tormented: the parents were quite old and could not adjust the sharpness of the image on their own. As a result, with the old camera, the picture was fuzzy, the image constantly "floated", the pleasure from communicating with parents was minimal. Everything fell into place with the Logitech HD camera! Now we see parents in Skype in all its glory, with a clear, stable picture and good sound. Image quality is excellent, even at dusk and against the light. Color reproduction is carried out without distortion. You can adjust the color balance, brightness, contrast and white balance. Focus adjusts automatically and almost instantly, eliminating the need for manual sharpening. The microphone of this camera is very sensitive and works without extraneous noise: it captures the sound even if someone is talking or the TV is on in the next room. Be careful! The camera is packed decently, in a large box with matte lamination: However, inside it, apart from a small camera with a cord, the simplest instructions (in pictures) and standard warranty obligations, there is nothing. The first figure shows that the camera can only be adjusted in the vertical plane: To change the view to the left or right, the camera on the mount does not turn, you need to turn the laptop itself or sit right in front of the lens. The instruction fit on just one (!) Page. The back of this sheet is pristine! This confused me, but, there was nothing to do, I had to move on. In the following photo, the camera itself is assembled: She has a dovetail mount. It is clearly visible in the photo: The camera is stably placed both on the surface of the table (can be installed next to the monitor) and on the monitor itself of any thickness and configuration: The mount is universal, extendable to any screen width. It has rubber pads to keep it from slipping off. The camera itself is very nice and looks like this: Now it's time to connect it. The laptop is old with Windows XP operating system. I turned it on, waited for an Internet connection, and then connected the webcam itself to the "hot" one. The system independently saw a new device, downloaded the necessary drivers and the camera was installed! The time spent on installing the camera was about 3 minutes. I highly recommend this webcam to everyone!
