Purchased for a turtle tank where it is expected to work with a full water tank. The motor inside broke off on first use. After reattachment, water still enters between the inner "sleeve" and the outer case. Very disappointed with the filtration of the product. Very loud with strong vibrations. The tanks were really leaking and had to be replaced. Might be a coincidence but I suspect vibration played a part in the leak. I was hoping this would be a good replacement for the inferior filter I was using, but now I wish I had wasted my money.
