Review on Dynaplug Ultralite Tubeless Tire Repair by Bilal Cartwright

These things are the key to a quick fix!

This is a lovely product that is easy to use. Hood is not required. I bought it for my ATV but first used it on my 4x4 pickup. The winged body bolt went straight through the heavy-duty Bridgestone axle beam on the left front. This plug kit was a lot easier than changing a tire. I sprayed some Windex around the stud, there were no bubbles so thought I'd get it out. Pull after the big leak! My friend plugged the hole with his finger and I got the tool ready. I put a plug in, still windex, it's still leaking. Put in a second plug, no leak. It took about 3 minutes, the tire pressure was still enough to continue. I've got about 600 miles on the tire with no problems (later fully inflated). One note, the corks themselves are pretty sticky. I had one that the manufacturer sent in in an insert tube (on a previous purchase) that got stuck and ruined the connector. So I always leave the inserter empty when stowing it in a handle. I also wrap each fork in this Reynolds nonstick sheet and stow it in the tool handle. Even in the heat of our Mojave Desert and the rough handling of a quad, they don't hold together. When it's time to use them, just peel off the aluminum foil, spit a little on the connector before inserting it into the insertion tube, and you won't have a problem. Update: The plugs have been in place for over 2500 miles with no problems, when I had my tires changed at Costco I had them replace the plugs with a permanent patch. I have four of these devices that I carry in different cars. I have since used the "system" on 3 other flat tires (my own or friends) and it is much quicker than changing a tire. Another plus is that you're not driving around on a stupid donut.
