Overall very pleasant. in lenses

I use a Canon Rebel SL1. I bought Kenko 1.4x and 2.0x for comparison. At 2.0x, autofocus works with my EFS 50mm 1.8 lens when using the screen for viewing, but not when looking through the eyepiece (very strange, but true). Autofocus is unstable with my EFS 50-250mm IS lens; IS seems to work fine. Overall, I'm very happy with the image quality so far. Edge to edge feels super sharp. Seems almost as good as without. The big challenge is to keep getting great shots all the time. My IS 55-250 is an amazing lens that almost always takes great pictures. With the Kenko 2.0x attached, there's no consistency, mainly due to the fact that getting the focus and exposure time right is more difficult. But I can take pictures that I've never been able to take before. So it's a compromise. Lens shots are taken with a 50mm lens with Kenko, so 100mm and probably as sharp as 50mm without Kenko. Update 04/20/17: Took a few more photos (420 or so). I am posting the best of the series here. Note that they are cropped and some adjustments are made in Aftershot. And note that out of every 5-10 shots I took, only one was sharp enough to be usable. But you get an idea of what you can "get" with a little patience. Most of these were shot in "AV" mode at ISO 100, usually at F8 (2x F4) and at least 1/60th of a second if not faster. And I'm usually around 20-30 feet. Update: 4/22/17 I returned this and decided to keep Kenko's 1.4x HD DGX. I don't need two teleconverters, and 1.4x gives decent magnification and much better photo clarity. I also felt like I got more detailed pictures "most of the time". I've gotten some relatively fantastic shots at 2.0x; but I had to take a lot more shots to get those few good shots. Please see my review and photos for 1.4x for more details.
