Slydlock is the perfect choice for mounting today's large flat screen TVs in tight spaces. My previous TV was a 53 inch plasma TV that fitted perfectly in the space available with less than 1/2 inch spacing on each side. Nobody makes these weird screen sizes anymore. The 50-inch models were corner swallowed and nothing else fit. Slydlock had me buy and install this Hisense 55 inch U8G (great TV btw) which is 1 inch wider than the corner. The bracket is strong and durable; I am not worried that it will withstand the strain. Two people are required for the installation. My wife helped me install it and lift the TV into place. The installation guide is quite simple. And yes, it can carry bigger, heavier TVs.
