DO NOT BUY THIS!

I'm still trying to find the words but they sound like it. I am currently looking for a new kit as less than a year later (first purchase 12/13/18 now 10/10/2019) the shock absorbers exploded. To be fair, I sometimes tow a light trailer loaded with kayaks and have a trunk full of a family of 4 at a time. Factory shocks lasted 5 years under the same conditions. The rear springs aren't the best from the factory either; Honda didn't provide for anyone who might need to install a hitch (not even a small elderly couple who might have a scooter). I called my local suspension shop who is well known for their work (Thurston Springs in Richmond, VA) and unfortunately there was nothing they could do or recommend to improve the rear suspension. I'm hoping to find a better set of rear shocks that can take a little more hits. However, I have found a couple of inserts that match the spring and should make the spring stiffer, similar to spring preload if the theory is to be believed. The downside of inserts is that they can pop out, which is not a good thing. Finally, the top of the shock has a flat area over the threads that the wrench needs to hold while tightening. nuts (the nut has no locking elements), the flattened area rounds off very easily, making it difficult to tighten the nut properly. Find dampers that fit in the top of the allen wrench, not the flat area. In addition, the metal bushings attached to the threaded rod were too long; I had to cut off the excess to tighten the nut properly; I heard a clang every time I ran into a bump until I cut off the sleeves.
