The price is right for this compact player.

The price is always important to me. I was looking for a replacement for my aging broken player and this little device works great. The CD open/close mechanism is annoying. There is no. You must manually lift the cover, lower the disc into place and snap the disc onto the stem. Then lower the lid to start the game. The sound is ok, but since I only use this player to listen to tapes of books that help me sleep, the sound quality isn't an issue. This is sufficient for my needs.
