Good idea for an unwanted perch.

My bird was nibbling on my wall so I took it off and made this perch too big for her cage and hung it on a bare nail. She LOVES to sit on it. It offers a beautiful view of the living room and kitchen. I put the newspaper down and she can sit for hours and not have to let her poop on the newspaper. I like that she took this perch, I thought she would be intimidated by its size. Of course my wall is ugly, but keeping it out of my stuff is a huge sacrifice.

Pros

Necessary toy for parrots. Parrots need something to chew on to keep their beaks the right length. A beak that is too long impairs the ability to eat.
