$230 for a giant trash can. I should have known because it's LOL but I keep buying these things because my kid on the autism spectrum loves them. It just so happens that after some smart staffing decisions we can afford a house this year, something she's been asking for since the very first time. If you want to buy this and keep it a secret, do it in front of your child as the box is decorated with the LOL logo. Before you unpack anything, it's huge and heavy. 70 pounds heavy. All the gear is at the very bottom of the box which has all the big parts and is very easy to miss and the instructions have been hidden in the same layers. I find it very hard to believe that this is a real tree. Delete it. It's probably real wood, but it looks like pressed and layered pulp or something, which you'll notice during construction. Very close to chipboard. We watched the video and used it as a guide and also used the instructions. Be very very careful when assembling this as there is no reinforcement in the holes and we broke the walls a bit trying to prop it up (judging by the video) - superglue fixed it. It took about an hour and a half to put the house together and another 45 for the slide itself. The parts of the slide didn't fit together like they were supposed to and when they were supposed to it was very tight. fits, which makes you think. All parts were there, everything works. Big LOL fits great and has no complaints about anything matching the furniture or anything. Nothing flies off unless we shoot the rooms super. But at the PRICE of this thing? I was expecting this to contain a doll. At least one regular size LOL or something because this thing is overpriced for what it is and doesn't include at least 1 exclusive doll. My daughter was disappointed too because it looked like there was a car inside too, obviously it wasn't, it wasn't advertised but sometimes their adverts are incomprehensible. All in all I had to wait for the price to drop and you should too.
