very clear well-lit field of view! The base is heavy and actually allows you to extend the scope without tipping the entire item over; This means you can actually "look" at your work without the tool actually stopping you from getting your hands on the job. The ability to put on glasses while using the instrument is much more convenient than a headset or a magnifying glass ;-) Not "cheap", but worth the money.
