Great leash! I have found no issues with the clasp - it seems to be well made. The added comfort to the handle of the leash is wonderful. Our dog typically does not pull while on the leash, however, when he sees another dog, he becomes very excited and wants to immediately go over to them - this leash has proven to be strong in these cases and the added cushion to the handle makes it easy to keep control. The reflective braid in the leash is an added benefit as we have a black lab and always fear that a reflective color is not enough when walking at night. I would definitely recommend this leash to anyone look for a "typical" 6 foot leash.and you cannot beat the price!
