I definitely do not advise buying, the product disappointed.

Before these, I had a 5.1 BBK MA-970S speaker system. Which I drove on a laptop in version 2.1, settings +1 sw, +2 bass +3 treble. And enjoyed all genres of songs. But for 7 years, even the sub went wrong and I decided to buy new speakers. I read rave reviews about the R1280T here and bought . For 3 days of operation: All the songs that I listened to with pleasure, I wanted to delete and not hear it! I can’t imagine what kind of mountain is in the frequency response of these speakers? the middle ones are pushed up too much. Somehow, with a beats audio laptop equalizer, I set up a more or less pleasant sound. In fact, the entire middle band is from -8 to -15 dB. Then even the music began to sound nicer. But the tops still ring, and the bottoms are too buzzing. Movies are okay to watch. There is no discomfort. I returned these speakers to the store, because. in another column there were creaks in some songs. What from a laptop, what from a smartphone. When scrolling songs in FB, a crackling sound is heard in the columns. If the speakers are left on at night, then when playing a song at the first bass, crackling may also appear. Often, when playing songs, speakers swallow words or a piece of music. So it's all unusual and unpleasant. It is possible that I got defective ones. In general, if you are going to buy these, be sure to listen to them in the store! It is advisable to include your favorite songs in different genres, and songs in which either basses or instruments clearly stand out: classical, chillstep, deep house.

Pros
  • For the most part, they are beautiful. Spinners on the side. Remote control. They do not hiss if you turn off the laptop, but leave them on. No more merit.
Cons
  • Low frequencies - in different songs in different ways. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it sucks. Medium frequencies - Disgusting! Especially 1-2 kHz. High frequencies are some kind of sound mixed with ultrasound.

Pros below: sound, design, assembly, nice bass, easy connection, for their size they play very well! Has cons: I will add if something goes wrong!
