This item gets more stars than I would like to give because its rating is based on statistics I am not interested. This sharpener does not have the tip I was looking for after looking at many other sharpeners. All the sharpeners I have at home can sharpen just like this, so this is a very good sharpener. But. There isn't the lasting meaning I look for in everything I've sharpened, from Prismacolor to plain Graphite. I was looking for a very long ending to be able to do the shading I was learning in class. For this we will be taught to use a knife to get a very long end of the pencil. The end can break, but you're looking for a large surface area to blend with. I've seen this feature on products I wanted and assumed that all long end sharpeners would have this feature.
