I bought this first to try on my bike as it was a trial period I didn't want to spend a lot of money on more expensive branded versions. However, after installing it and using it for about a month, I realized that there is no need to buy a branded version - this one does the job perfectly! The GPS main unit is centered just above the stem and the adjustment screw stays in place. When I told a friend that I only paid $10 for mine (versus the $30 he paid for his big-name version), he was upset because it's such a simple device and they're both the same work, except he paid a premium for the socket.
