I replaced the power steering pump on our 2002 Mercury Villager and needed this kit to bleed the system. The tapered plug fitted the power steering reservoir perfectly, made a good seal, and easily held an 18" vacuum (note that this kit *does* not include a vacuum pump). It was just what I needed to get the job done properly.
