Review on πŸš€ Experience Power and Speed with AMD Ryzen 7 1700X Processor by Mateusz Dbkowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well done, but I wont buy any more.

The processor is exclusively for work tasks. And there it is, taking into account its price, it is simply not achievable for Intel. However, if you are building a gaming system and want high-end hardware, then the 1800X is not the best choice. You might as well buy the 1600X or the 7700K and both will cost you less. And do not listen to those who scream about optimization for 8 cores and DX12. When only 3.9% of users have more than 4 cores, no one will even stir to optimize games for multi-core processors, especially since they can handle it anyway. And we have already seen DX12, but Intel's lead is smaller there, but it's still not in AMD's favor. The result is obvious: priority at work - 1800X, priority at games - 7700K.

Pros
  • Price Performance
Cons
  • Low overclocking potential, but these are trifles, performance is enough
