My old iPad Air is rarely used and often ends up on the bedside table (as a glorified alarm clock or TV) or in the kitchen (with recipes or instructions). Video). This is a simple and functional stand if you don't hold your tablet in your hands very often. The rotating and swiveling options are great and the stand moves smoothly. I love the ease of simply rotating the device from portrait to landscape without having to adjust a mount. The clips hold my iPad horizontally (the clips are on the top and bottom and hold the long sides of the iPad) and it still holds securely when I turn it to landscape. My only star is that the clips are deep enough to fit a variety of tablets and cases, leaving the bare iPad about 1/2 inch of space between the clip and the back. The iPad is still held but can move slightly. I would like them to include "spacers" that could be inserted to close this gap. I ended up going to Home Depot to buy clear rubber door bumpers to fix this problem.
