I received it without much expectation. What amazed me is that I could rotate my phone instead of the clip. And basically a month later I'd say it's phenomenal. What you need without knowing it. I use it to hold my phone while filming outside, I use it to put my phone on the stand to watch movies and shows. Overall it's great, I can position the phone vertically or horizontally and you can rotate and tighten to adjust almost every component to the right angle for you. The phone doesn't get lost, the stand should break and the phone goes with it. It is compact and foldable. I casually carry it in my fishing bag and everything is fine! I highly recommend it as a stand. I have no idea about the remote control function, I only bought it to be able to rotate and tighten my phone.
