For unknown and incomprehensible reasons, a few years ago wrestling shoe manufacturers stopped producing them in different widths. So you have to hunt around to find wrestling shoes that fit wide feet. After trying a few sneakers, we found these. We still had to buy 1 1/2 sizes larger - my son normally wears a size 7 and we ordered an 8 1/2 - but it fits the ball of the foot in the boot and it fits comfortably.
