Review on πŸ‘“ Flammi Lazy Prism Glasses for Comfortable Horizontal Reading/TV Viewing by Kelly Burton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They work, but not without complaints.

Every night I lie in bed and before I go to bed I do a few things on my iPad – maybe surf the internet, maybe watch a few YouTube videos. I don't like resting my head at right angles, it's uncomfortable so I bought these to see what I think. On the plus side, they work. With an iPad on your chest or stomach, it's VERY comfortable to lie on your back and watch videos or read websites. It takes some time to get used to touching the screen as it is no longer where you expect it to be. However, not everything is like roses. The field of vision is limited - something like I imagine tunnel vision. However, it's large enough for my iPad's screen to be fully visible, so it's not a problem for me. The image you see is a bit weird, as you would expect when looking through prisms. There's a noticeable dividing line between the two eyes, which you'll get used to after a while, but there are also issues with focusing around the edges, although that may be due to my glasses. Regular glasses will fit under these eyes, but they're heavy, and if you don't position them that way, your nose - at least sometimes mine - will start complaining, as will the eye socket, if they put too much pressure on my glasses. In other words, you have to position them correctly or you'll get uncomfortable. The reason I gave this four stars instead of three is because despite the issues I've been using it almost every night since I bought it. Not having to put your head up, lie on your back and be able to enjoy an evening of TV on the iPad overcomes all the oddities and inconveniences you have. My wife thinks I look like the greatest geek ever laying in bed with it, so that's about it.
