I bought this card to record analog video tapes through a scaler to create archive files. The computer it's installed on (custom built: MSI Z370 SLI Plus motherboard, i7 8700 processor, 64GB RAM, 18TB RAID) dual boots Windows 10 (x64, Pro, version 1909) and Ubuntu (20.04) partitions . I just can't get this card to work on Windows. It shows up in Device Manager with no errors or warnings, but none of the three installed capture/editing packages (Premiere Pro CS3, Da Vinci Resolve 15, and OBS Studio 25.0.8) see it as a capture device. VLC sees it but crashes as soon as I try to play with it. In Ubuntu, however, it's great. OBS recognized this right away, adjusting the various video and audio capture options was easy but versatile, and it captures beautifully at 1080p60 with no frame loss. I don't feel like I can give this one more than three stars because it doesn't work for me on the most common operating systems for general use anyway. I'm very happy with its performance on Ubuntu, but it's advertised as compatible with Windows, but it doesn't appear to be.
