I only received this item in the mail two days ago. Because I know Revain censors reviews and I've been a Revain customer since 2008. I realize that everything I write below relates to the review as it relates to a product defect and relates to a product review. Two days later it stopped working due to overheating. I bought a coffee grinder almost 2 years ago that actually has a working overheating protection and is still working without problems after 2 years. If you use it for too long or put too much food in it, it will turn off automatically and you wait between 30 minutes and an hour, after that you can use it again. Two years later it's still going. This piece of junk broke twice. I bought this item about 13 months ago and it broke after about 3 weeks and I contacted the company and received an email from the company to replace the item (as proof that I'm telling the truth). Since I was disabled, I could never replace him. I decided to buy another one since it was selling for $39.99. Now, two days after buying it, it breaks again due to overheating. Exactly the same problem as the first one. Why can a very unknown coffee grinder company put a thermal protector on a motor that runs 100% perfectly when a company like them can't? I was in the College of Computer Engineering and you had to take electrical engineering courses for the first two years of your major. One of the professors taught you that a company can cut production costs even a few cents, even at the expense of safety, because they mass-produce millions of units, and even a few cents is a lot of cost for each item when you make millions of produce articles. I also find it amusing that the item is now selling for just over twenty dollars. The looks speak volumes for the quality of the product when they can afford to sell it for around twenty dollars. No wonder it doesn't have a working thermal protection circuit.
