This item worked very well in the 1998 Saturn SL sedan. Just make sure you put the new radio parts in the correct order (on my Kenwood KDC-152 in-dash MP3/WMA-CD receiver it went into the rear first, then the dash attached, then the head unit into the Front), or you end up installing and uninstalling it a few times like I did before you get the hang of it. :) I used a Metra 70-1858 radio harness for a GM 88-05 harness and a Metra 40-GM10 GM antenna adapter, which worked fine. Of course, the wiring harness first had to be connected to the head unit. I used Home Depot butt welders for this.
