Review on Tamron 18-200mm Di III VC Lens: Superior Performance for Sony Mirrorless Interchangeable-Lens Camera Series AFB011-700 (Black) by Marco Wilson

I actually ordered this for my full frame Sony A7 because I knew I could use it in APS-C mode. All functions work properly, the lens is good. I find it a little soft at the telephoto end, even when stopped down, and I've noticed that focusing is slow (or doesn't work) in low or even dim light. This also seems to suggest that it's received focus lock at distances well within the minimum focus distance, meaning you'll think you're in focus, but you really aren't. That's how I learned to step back a bit when shooting macro. All in all a decent buy that gives the A7 fantastic range. If I need a lot of range at the cost of fewer pixels, I can use this lens. If I want to do full frame, I use a different lens. The best from both worlds. Good price hence 3 stars.
