    Real quality lens for Sony Emount!

    Bought this lens for my NEX-7. I bought all black because it matches my NEX-7. I have to say I'm really impressed with the build quality and performance of this lens! Like all compromise lenses, it covers a wide range of focal lengths. And it's just as good as Sony lenses. It also goes well with the NEX-7.

    Does its job best in camera and photo mode

    I actually ordered this for my full frame Sony A7 because I knew I could use it in APS-C mode. All functions work properly, the lens is good. I find it a little soft at the telephoto end, even when stopped down, and I've noticed that focusing is slow (or doesn't work) in low or even dim light. This also seems to suggest that it's received focus lock at distances well within the minimum focus distance, meaning you'll think you're in focus, but you really aren't. That's how I learned to step back

    Excellent travel lens

    Excellent travel lens for Sony A6xxx cameras. The stabilization is surprisingly solid. The optics aren't bad, especially considering the zoom range and the price. I usually buy used camera gear and bought one of those Tamron lenses that was used on Revain but I had to return it. Early versions of this lens didn't focus as well as later ones and the ones I got had trouble focusing at all. Current production lenses work fine and can use both CDAF and PDAF with focus on the A6000 series. I am only

    Great little lens for lenses

    I sold all my full frame stuff and big lenses just wanted a good camera that's small. I bought the NEX 7 but was very disappointed with the 18-55 kit lens. I was just frustrated that I couldn't buy what I thought was a quality lens for this camera. The only one I could find is a Zeiss 24mm and it's nowhere to be found.     Good general purpose zoom for beginners

    I bought this along with a Zeiss 55 1.8 for my Sony A7III knowing full well that it is a crop sensor camera. I wanted an inexpensive all-in-one zoom lens to go with my more expensive prime lens and I liked the variety this lens offered. The 18-200 is pretty good and as far as I know there are no full frame Sony lenses in this range.
