Embroidery Kits have gotten a lot nicer in recent years. This set is perfect for the beginner. It contains everything you need to get started. The colors are beautiful, match those in the photo and the stitches are easy for a beginner. I'm a beginner myself. The kit includes a detailed photo of what the finished product should look like. The pattern on the fabric is easy to repeat. You can gently wash away any lines after you're done, if needed. The instructions are mostly clear. See the back of the product image for basic instructions on the different stitches. I learn a lot better by watching, so I found free videos online showing different stitches. This works very well. I look forward to completing this work and framing it for the exhibition. The kits are inexpensive and make great gifts, both finished and unfinished. I think older kids would love to try it too. It's a great way to relax and create a beautiful piece of art even if you're not a great artist otherwise.
