I had to put 3 because they sent me a shock absorber which was defective, the front shock absorber hole for the screw was wrong. I had to open each box and check the size of the screw holes. I had to send it back and get another one, the old shock absorber was already damaged, had to wait a few days with the truck raised. If you have a problem, find the Call Now option on Amazon and take care of it pretty quickly with a guy with an Indian accent. Got a shock and put it on Seems to be working fine. I was really expecting a stronger hit, but that's what I ordered. I've heard good things about Bilstein shocks, but they're good enough for my old truck.
