I bought a box of these for my 2014 Infiniti QX60 based on all the positive reviews for Nissan's infamous CVT. In 120,000 miles I have never serviced the transmission. The dealer checked the codes at the last oil change and said they were showing jitter/slip codes, which usually indicate an impending failure. They asked for $7,500 to replace the transmission. It certainly wasn't as smooth as it was then, but I didn't want to spend that money on a gearbox even if it had a truly catastrophic failure. I followed some tutorials on YouTube and heated the gearbox to 113 degrees. and merged 3.5 liters (that's all that merged). I added four liters, reheated to 113 degrees, and emptied the top stopper until it dribbled. After a few days it was smoother and the tremors that started at around 15-20 mph were reduced. I took the remaining two liters and slowly added more a little at a time, heating the transmission to 113 and draining the excess through the top plug. The liquid got dirty every time, but at least I filled the gearbox with 6 new liters. Now, 1 week later, the transfer is incredibly smooth. Doesn't tremble, twitch, slide and is much quieter. I'm quite surprised and hope I've bought myself some time at QX. Great product so far.
