Pretty good trunk. When I first used it I didn't use common sense and zipped it up the front. Do not do that. I went through terrible torrential rains...the worst I've ever experienced in my 24 hour trip from Colorado to Ohio. And he definitely got very wet inside the front. Next time I'll put the contents in big garbage bags and tie the backs just in case! It was only 2.5 hours on the road, but it was raining and nothing got wet. The velcro works well, but the front-facing side doesn't protect the zipper perfectly, it just protects it from the constant wind. I bought a protector to put underneath and I put towels and blankets on the underside to further protect my car's top. I've already packed it for the first long ride, probably to the max weight, and it's held up great. It held up well on the few rides it's had. Overall it was easy to buckle up but wish it was easier to "put on" and tighten, this party is harder than it needs to be. I'm glad I bought it, for the price I can't beat it. I only took off one star because it's not perfect, but as long as you are tolerant of how it shrinks and reasonable in how you package it and which way you face the hole, you'll be fine! Definitely recommend :)
