I was very disappointed with the installation. I do a lot of mechanical work and have to say this is not for the inexperienced DIYer. I've installed towbars on both large and small trucks and cars and have never had this problem. First, the fishing wire was 12 inches shorter. The hole I drilled to the end of the bumper didn't come out. It is required to catch bolts. The bolts were too long. The bolt would not fit into the bumper to fall through the hole. Third, the hole size was wrong and too small. They had to be drilled further on the 16th time to fit in the hole with the fishing wire attached. Caveats, you need at least 2 people for the installation and be careful when tightening the screws. They catch on objects in the bumper and detach from the screws. It would be another nightmare. It seems to me that there is a better way to design the hitch for easier installation.
