I bought this set for my 10 year old daughter. The helmet fits well and is a great color. Very pretty. She used knee pads for about a week and then decided she didn't need them. She wore elbow pads for a few days, then said they were uncomfortable. She wore wrist guards for a few days and said they were very uncomfortable so she stopped wearing them. I bought the blue set for my 5 year old and she wears everything except the wrist guards. She tries to wear them but always takes them off because they are uncomfortable. Overall I would say that this set is more suitable for children aged 4-8 years. The helmet is adjustable and seems to fit older kids too, maybe up to 12 depending on head size.
