Fits 2012 Subaru Legacy/Outback (same stereos without navigation). Here's the thing: Do you know what new stereo you're about to install? I had to use a spliced AUX wire to get the steering wheel control wires to work as my SONY XA VAX1000 has a remote connector on the back and there is no room in the wire harness that the unit came with for those 4 extra wires (you need to do not use the 4th red steering wheel wire if you are using spliced AUX). If you are using a Sony device, you may face the same problem with SWC. I called Brian at AutoHarnessHouse and he told me how to do it. The guy knows his stereos. Call him. Also, don't forget to tape or cover other wires. The wiring harnesses are pre-cut, and if they come in contact with metal after connecting to the car, they'll blow your horn fuse in the hood.
