Bought for myself after buying two others as gifts from the same manufacturer. According to the description it is for "adults and children, boys and girls". This doesn't list a suitable minimum age but one of the others I bought from the same manufacturer said they were suitable for 12 month olds. and up. Of course I knew it was a typo so I assumed it meant 12 YEARS AND UP, but to be honest after weeks of working on mine I don't think even a 12 year old would like it. It's frustrating how everyone comes out. It is so detailed and the details and numbers are so small and difficult to read that I think you have to be an adult to have the patience for this. In addition, most colors need to be applied in 2-3 coats as the numbers show through when one coat is applied. Depending on how prominent the color is in the design, you will NOT always get enough color for that many layers. For a color that needed a lot of application I didn't even have enough for ONE coat, not like 3! I had to go to Michael and buy a color that was as close to the color as possible and redo all the details that were in that color. Very frustrating. The designs themselves are lovely and I don't mind that they're so detailed, but they DEFINITELY shouldn't indicate that they're for kids (let alone 12 month olds lol!). The problem isn't the design per se, it's that (1) the recommended age is ridiculous, (2) it's missing some paint colors to finish it (LIMITED error), and (3) the numbers bleed out if you don't apply multiple coats of what robs you of your desire. I would like to recommend this brand, but I can't.
