My Transition to Chain in Chains

Chains wear out and stretch so gradually that it's hardly noticeable that this is happening. But over time you realize it. A little more noise from the gearbox. A creak here, a click there. Gears slip or slip from time to time, but you brush it off. You might think the noise is being caused by something else. Pedal? Is the sprocket bolt loose? Maybe it's a seat? Then you pull out the chain sensor. Ah, the chain is stretched. All these noises can of course be explained by a worn chain. There are some parts that can be replaced to improve the ride, like a new chain. With every turn of the crank, you'll be reminded of the simple pleasure that smooth gearing can provide. Even the cleanest and best lubricated chain cannot match this level of smoothness and smoothness when worn. The HG93 chain is my favorite chain for the cyclocross bike I ride to work. The HG93 has a smoother finish than the included HG73, making it easier to keep clean. I've ridden about 10,000 - 12,000 miles with these chains. In fact, given what I said above, I would even say that I find this necklace inspiring.
