Sturdy and the buckle is amazing.
Loved this collar! it's a little heavier than my dog's original collar, but my dog has gotten used to the weight. The buckle weighs the most. If you decide to buy this collar, make sure you fasten it correctly, otherwise you risk injuring your dog or breaking the buckle.
