Review on Dorman 55164 Isolator Bolt for Ford Engine Intake Manifold in Select Models by Mark Hanson

Surprisingly, you can't find them at local auto parts stores. At least where I live they don't have them and they won't even order them. Luckily Revane had her. We used them on the upper intake manifold on my son's 2001 Ford Taurus with a DOHC V6 when he dropped one of the originals in the engine bay (not the engine itself) and we couldn't find it. They are listed on many websites for use in Windstar and even Revain says they are not suitable for Taurus (see image). They fit perfectly, although they look slightly different. The rubber piece is green instead of the OEM black and the screw is white metal instead of the OEM brass, but they worked! I hope that was helpful. If so, click the useful button below!
