I recently traveled to Oakland from Detroit and wanted a small portable fan to take with me. I'm the type of person who *needs* to run a fan to sleep. Since this was a business trip, I also wanted something that could be used in the office. This little fan from Honeywell did it. It's single-speed (which is plenty), runs on a proprietary (boo!) USB cable or two AA batteries, and comes with a handle that can be used to hang the fan or as a stand. I used the handle as a stand and found that I could adjust it exactly how I wanted. For such a small fan, it still managed to generate decent airflow. Even though it wasn't the loudest thing around, it still made enough noise to keep me up every night. My only real complaint is the cheap proprietary USB cable used to power the fan. A standard micro USB would be a much better choice. All in all a solid travel fan that I can recommend. Pros: - Lies comfortably in a horizontal position - Generates a decent amount of air - Super light Cons: - Proprietary cable
