Review on Alien Sunshade Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018) – Full Length Mesh Sun Shade For Jeep JK 2 Door - Blocks UV by Sean Patel

Not many options here but this one had the best reviews. Is it just me, or do most consumers have lower standards? (1) Is there a reason why the lampshade is 2.5 inches shorter on both sides? I know this is a huge cost savings, but I don't understand why no one else mentions this in Alien Shade. This gap worries me because it's basically where the sun hits my face as I commute to and from work. Maybe I'm just lucky. (2) Rear elastic is too short. Yes it will work and is very difficult to stretch once installed, but why? How can you use the same size bungee for the sides and back when you stretch the back to more than three times its length? Alien Shade may have started well with good default materials, but it looks like they're going to shrink with the right materials.
