High-quality, durable paper straws: stylish and eco-friendly

Media failed to load. I always use a straw when drinking soda/seltzer from a can (since it's more hygienic than drinking straight from the can) and in iced tea glasses (since I use them to stir sweetener/sugar), but I hate single-use plastic waste. . And while I love the idea of paper straws, I was a little wary of ordering them as I've used ones in the past, which got wet pretty quickly. However, I didn't have this problem with these paper straws from Dailinece Housewares; They are made of thicker paper and are very durable. I included a short video clip in my review; I just tapped the straw on the table to show that it doesn't bend or warp when tapped lightly to medium. Also, you can tell by the click/tap that the paper is heavier, rather than the softer, muffled sound you hear when using thinner or thinner paper. I measured the straws and found the manufacturer's length of 7-3/4" to be accurate. It is important to note that these straws will retain their shape and strength when submerged in liquid, they will not bend and don't get wet. Haven't used them yet. For hot drinks I've left the straw in a soda can or glass of iced tea for 2-3 hours (occasionally sipping while working at my desk) and the straws never got wet, crumpled or bent.I am very happy with the quality and durability of these straws and find them to be good value for money.I cannot tell where they are made.On the front of the box I received, There's a pretty obvious spelling mistake - the straws were labeled "PAPER RHINES" which leads me to believe they were made in China (or some other country whose country where English is not the first language). I don't care, I give them 5 stars because they aren't. They are the strongest, highest quality paper straws I've ever used, so I can finally break the habit of using plastic straws forever!
