Initially we were very pleased with the looks and performance, but have since been disappointed with its toasting ability. The first few times it toasted nicely with the blackout button as requested. However, the more it is used, the lighter the toast becomes, despite asking for as dark a toast as possible. We were also disappointed with the flimsy plastic handles on the elevators. I wish a toaster that cute was more reliable.
