(Top shelf has 25 holes, less than 10" x 10") This product disappoints on several counts. All holes are very small and close together, so only objects with thin handles will fit. Also, objects with large heads (e.g. rakes) are almost too narrow to even try to turn them on. The top shelf of this shelf does not attach securely to the posts. Used a rubber mallet a few times and couldn't get it to stay down. With that in mind, we shifted our long-handled tools and ended up using this rack for brooms, mops, and other lightweight, thin-handled items. Another shelf that we have already used for shovels etc. The extra shelf adds a degree of stability that other similar tool racks don't have. I just wish it was bigger and the top shelf was safer.
