Good product as it protects the spikes well and does not require frequent assembly/disassembly. But he does not remain without outside help. I lost the correct boot after just a few days even though I taped it to my carbon fiber boots. Packing tape does not stick well to carbon fiber. I am ordering another pair of cases as there is no competition for this application. I don't want to use glue between the cap and the spike because I don't want to risk gluing the clip mechanism together and I don't want to think it will be strong enough. It might be possible to wrap the perimeter of the lid with a zip tie to keep it from bulging out of the mounting slots, but I don't trust that too much. So this time I'll probably just use duct tape to hold them in place.
