Attaches to bathroom tile to prevent doorknob banging. I want the bumper to sit squarely on a tile, but it doesn't - it overlaps two tiles. However, the bumper did not fall off and serves its purpose perfectly. Also looks great and blends in with the surroundings. I am very satisfied with my purchase and can recommend it unreservedly. Update: August 2018. The bumper is still hanging there! It didn't fall from where I was holding it.
