Review on 🔌 J-Tech Digital TM HDMI 1x4 Splitter Ver 1.3 - Full HD 1080P, Deep Color, HD Audio, Max Bandwidth 10.2Gbps by Ross Decoteau

This box did the job for the first task; Splitting the camera signal to multiple monitors. But in another situation something unacceptable happens. I used this to split my laptop image between the monitor at my station and the switch further away. This in turn was connected to another monitor. However, when the switch switched to another laptop, the JTech splitter lost control and dropped the connection to my computer, even though it was still connected to the monitor in my station. This is unfortunate because the extended screen I installed reverted to my main screen rather than being reconfigured when the box finally figured out it still had a monitor to work with. This is a big problem in a test presentation situation where you are constantly switching between laptops and need to maintain one display setting. All my other HDMI splitters can work with the downstream switch but not this one. I'm giving two stars because it works with my DVI monitors with HDMI adapters, not all switches, and it's used elsewhere. Chain.
